United Rentals has made a name for itself as an equipment rental company. For many years they’ve been relied on for their vast fleet and speedy delivery. However, their reach and impact on their customers worksites have historically been limited. To broaden their reach, United Rentals has expanded their solution offerings as an effort to help customers become smarter and more efficient.

To show how the world’s largest equipment-rental company offered far more than just equipment, we created a highly immersive web experience that explores how new ways of applying intelligent equipment, data and expertise can tackle worksite inefficiency. Users can explore three unique worksites and see how by working with United Rentals, they can create a better performing worksite. The site also features summaries about more than 50 of the largest, real-world infrastructure projects in the US and Canada and what it will take to complete them. Users are driven to the site by campaign-focused film, contextual OOH and geo-targeted digital.
